Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty and possess the necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic procedures according to protocols.
• Document findings and communicate results to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
• Certification requirements include:
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Additional credentialing options:
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS.
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCI.
• Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RS) through ARRT.
• Current BLS certification.

Work Schedule

Schedule may vary from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be willing to work 2 major holidays among Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, as well as 1 minor holiday (options include the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).

Location

This position is based in a city in the state where local candidates are not available within a 50-mile radius.
