Vascular Sonographer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vascular ultrasound and be prepared to work in a collaborative environment. This position primarily involves conducting ultrasound examinations on adult patients, with very rare pediatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations on adult patients.
• Ensure accurate assessment and documentation of findings.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vascular imaging techniques and protocols.

Schedule

The selected candidate will work a fixed schedule of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Wednesdays off. Rotating call is required approximately every 4th or 5th weekend.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New Hampshire license at the time of application.
• BLS certification required.
• Registered Vascular Sonographer by CCI or Registered Vascular Tech by ARDMS.
• A minimum of 2 years of dedicated vascular experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Experience with electronic medical records; Cerner experience preferred.
• Candidates who have worked in a dedicated vascular lab within the last 6 to 9 months will be considered.

Additional Information

This is a small lab environment consisting of three full-time sonographers and two per diem staff. Most procedures are outpatient, with a limited number of inpatient exams. Travelers may have the opportunity to float between multiple locations within the region.
