Cardiac Sonographer (Allied)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our dynamic team. This position requires expertise in performing echocardiograms and assessments essential to patient care in the field of cardiac and vascular health.

Schedule

The typical schedule for this role is from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with variable hours as necessary.

Location

This position may require relocation, as local candidates within 50 miles are not being considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms and other related tests.
• Interpret and analyze imaging results to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of tests performed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac sonography is required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Must hold an appropriate credential in echocardiography, such as:
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) from Sonography Canada.
• Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Holiday Expectations

The Cardiac Sonographer is expected to work during two major holidays from the following list: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and one minor holiday, which includes the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
