Radiation Therapy Tech

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapy Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience in the field and hold relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients in accordance with treatment plans.
• Position patients accurately and perform quality assurance checks on equipment.
• Document patient treatment information and progress in compliance with standard procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient comfort and care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent experience in radiation therapy.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiation Therapy Tech (RRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Schedule

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Holiday Requirements

In addition to regular duties, candidates are required to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve) each year.
