Radiation Therapy Tech

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience within the specialty and hold a current AHA BLS certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients as per prescription from the radiation oncologist.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Assist in patient positioning and preparation for treatment.
• Monitor and document patient responses and treatment progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and care considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiation therapy.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Valid certification as a Radiation Therapy Technologist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
