Radiation Therapist

Job Description

A challenging and rewarding opportunity exists for a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiation therapy treatments while adhering to established policies and protocols.

General Duties

• Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with provider orders.
• Utilize independent judgment and apply standard methodologies while operating treatment and planning equipment, including simulation.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding procedures and treatments.
• Demonstrate professional behavior in all patient interactions, promoting teamwork and quality patient outcomes.

Schedule

• Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
• Weekend commitments may be required only for emergencies.
• Holiday coverage as needed when the facility is operational.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in radiation oncology.
• ARRT certification with radiation therapy registry is mandatory.
