Radiation Oncology Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncology Technologist to join our team in Globe, Arizona. The successful candidate will have experience in managing radiation therapy equipment and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including Varian Halcyon, Phillips CT, Aria, and Eclipse.
• Safely administer radiation treatments to patients, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient treatments and align with regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation oncology.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a patient-focused approach.

Shift Information

This position primarily requires day shifts.

Patient Load

The technologist will typically handle approximately 10-12 patients per day.

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is not required for this position.
