We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic Radiation Oncology unit. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology and a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional patient care.

Location: Kansas City, MO

Unit Name: Radiation Oncology

General Information:

• Number of Beds: 490
• Staffing Description: 4 Radiation Therapists (RTTs), 2 Radiation Oncology Registered Nurses (RNs)
• Type of Equipment: Truebeam and iX
• Documentation System: Mosaiq and Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: Monday to Friday, day shifts

Qualifications

• Requires 4 or more years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Preferred experience with Truebeam and OSMS.
• Must be familiar with OBI-KV, MV, and CBCT.

Procedures Performed

• Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT)
• 3D Conformal Treatments
• Stereotactic Radiation Surgery (SRS)
• Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT)
• Emergency treatments, including SVC syndrome, heterotopic bone, whole brain treatments, and spinal cord compression

Certifications Required

• ARRT Board Certified
• BCLS Certification

Dress Code

Grey or charcoal grey scrubs are required.
