Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing various nuclear medicine studies including cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying. The role involves operation of GE equipment within an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate nuclear medicine studies.
• Coordinate with Radiologist and Lead Tech for study evaluation.
• Be available for weekday call after 4:30p and rotating weekend and holiday calls.
• Float to Mercy Downtown as needed.

Requirements:

• Active BLS certification and California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (CA NMTL).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in nuclear medicine.
• Proficiency with Radnet and Merge Unity systems.
