Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the radiology department will work 40 hours per week performing imaging and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient care, and operating PET/CT equipment within an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures as per department protocols.
• Handle and administer radioactive materials professionally and safely.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including safety and radiation standards.

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB Certificate
• PET experience required
• Driver’s license for verification of candidate’s radius compliance
• Artificial nails prohibited in patient care departments
• DOT Certification preferred at original contract, required at extension
