Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures. The role requires operation of GE equipment and involves working with the Radnet & Merge Unity systems under the supervision of a Lead Tech.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging and studies including cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying.
• Operate GE equipment and handle 5-10 scans/studies per day.
• Provide coverage at Mercy Downtown hospital if required (approximately 6.5 miles away).
• Participate in on-call rotations including weekdays after 4:30 p.m., weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• BLS and CA NMTL certifications.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
