Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Radiology department is responsible for conducting various imaging studies such as cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying in a facility equipped with GE equipment. The technologist will also collaborate with a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies with accuracy and precision.
• Operate and maintain GE equipment and related software systems including Radnet & Merge Unity.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Be available for call duties after hours, on weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
• Float to other locations, such as Mercy Downtown, when required.

Requirements:

• BLS certification and California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (CA NMTL).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
