Job Duties

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with a high level of precision and clinical expertise.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining safety at all times.
• Acquire and process diagnostic images, conduct daily quality control, and manage radiopharmacy operations in accordance with NYSDOH guidelines.
• Manage and document patient data using the eRecord “CUPID” system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and improve lab protocols continuously.

• Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis studies, and hybrid SPECT resting studies followed by PET sarcoidosis or viability studies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• At least 6 months of experience in Cardiac Imaging.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Certification from NMTCB or ARRT(N).
• CT certification required to perform CT scans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program.
