Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform imaging studies and diagnostic testing including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying in an acute care setting. The position requires working collaboratively with the Radiology Department and managing study volumes of 5-10 scans per day.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting nuclear medicine imaging studies and providing diagnostic data.
• Working with department-specific equipment such as GE systems.
• Communicating with the lead technologist and radiologists in-house.
• Floating to other areas, including Mercy Downtown, as needed.
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Valid BLS certification and CA NMTL license.
• Familiarity with Radnet & Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems and Cerner charting system.
