Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures associated with radiology and nuclear medicine, ensuring high standards of patient care and image quality. The role involves working within a trauma level 1 acute care setting, utilizing equipment such as Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs.

Responsibilities:

Perform nuclear medicine procedures as per protocols and guidelines.
Ensure radiation protection measures and safety protocols are adhered to for patients and staff.

Requirements:

BLS certification required.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB Certificate required.
Driver’s license required at submittal for compliance with the 50-mile radius rule.
Artificial nails are prohibited; adherence to fingernail policy mandatory.
DOT Certification preferred at original contract and required within 90 days for extension.
