Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description:

Perform nuclear medicine imaging and studies, including cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying, using GE equipment and charting in Cerner with Radnet & Merge Unity systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nuclear medicine imaging studies.
• Use department-specific equipment and software such as GE, Radnet, and Merge Unity.
• Perform 5-10 scans/studies per day.
• Maintain communication with in-house radiologists and adhere to hospital protocol.

Requirements:

• BLS Certification and California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (CA NMTL).
• At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Able to float to Mercy Downtown when needed.
• Participate in rotating on-call weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Wear teal scrubs as per dress code; scrubs are not provided.
