Unit Information

• Department: Clinical Neurophysiology Lab
• Address: Mission Campus, 4th floor, room A433
• Staffing: 7 staff members
• Facility Features: Provides inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) EEG coverage for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients, including long-term monitoring (LTM), ICU, and EMU continuous EEGs.
• Operating Hours: Monday to Friday 7 am – 9 pm; Saturday and Sunday 8:30 am – 9 pm
• Equipment: Natus Xltek
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner Powerchart

Job Responsibilities

• Perform EEG procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Conduct long-term monitoring and continuous EEGs in various settings.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • Registered EEG Technologist certification.
  • Experience with neonatal and pediatric EEG procedures.
  • Inpatient hospital experience.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Collodion application experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of inpatient hospital experience.

Teal tops and black pants are required attire.

Weekend and On-call Coverage

Weekend and on-call coverage is required as part of a rotating schedule.
