Job Description:

The MRI Tech will work in conjunction with physicians to provide MRI and MRA examinations. This role ensures appropriate and effective care to elicit meaningful diagnostic information.

Responsibilities:

Work with physicians to provide MRI and MRA examinations.
Understand Hospital, Departmental, and examination protocols.
Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Perform QA on films and equipment and schedule examinations.
Complete exams, including Teleradiology of films.
Proficient in contrast injections and infection control principles.
Implement safety and patient screening procedures.
Maintain professional growth and development.
Ensure compliance with organization policies and labor agreements.

Requirements:

Washington State Radiologic Technologists Certification, RT(R)
Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT(R)
Experience with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) and/or Computed Tomography (CT) with ARRT (MR)
CPR Certification Healthcare Provider (HCP) level within three months of hire
Minimum of two years of Radiology clinical experience in a hospital setting
Associate’s degree in MRI technology or radiography, or related field
