MRI Technologist – FT 36 hr/wk

Shift: 3 – 13 hour day shifts – Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday; 6:30 am to 7:00 pm

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for providing MRI procedures and patient care while maintaining patient confidentiality. This role requires effective communication of the mission and vision of the facility and fostering relationships with patients, physicians, and team members. Holidays are covered by on-call staff and flexibility in shifts may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures, including screening patients and following safety protocols.
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment and report on equipment status.
• Monitor inventory and perform other related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program.
• ARRT registration and BCLS certification to be obtained within 4 months of hire.
