Job Description:

The Central Monitoring unit is a cardiac monitoring unit that monitors roughly 336 patients from 6 different hospitals. We also provide Virtual Sitter options for the main Mission campus. Travelers will be cross trained on the GE Carescape system and Cerner Patient Observer as a Virtual Sitter Attendant.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret heart rhythm strips
• Build end of shift reports within the GE Carescape system
• Add and discharge patients from the GE Carescape system
• Communicate to floor staff by desktop phone
• Communicate to floor staff by MH-Cure desktop application
• Maintain a running call log
• Multi-tasking skills

Requirements:

• Telemetry competent
• Ability to analyze and interpret heart rhythms
• Good attendance record
• Proficiency in English
• Basic computer knowledge
• Basic knowledge of how to operate a phone
