Job Description:

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The technologist demonstrates proficiency in routine mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localization, and specimen imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic radiographic procedures
• Fluoroscopy and portable radiographic procedures
• C-arm procedures and OR imaging services
• Screening and diagnostic mammography
• Needle localization and specimen imaging

Requirements:

• FL Rad Tech license
• ARRT Mammography certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1+ years recent mammography experience
