Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography and DEXA Technologist to take on a vital role in our new department. This position involves setting up protocols, performing scans and procedures, and ensuring the program is established for accreditation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities and possess significant experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and DEXA scans in a single position environment.
• Develop and establish protocols to meet accreditation standards.
• Assist in setting up the new department and program operations.
• Support colleagues in different modalities during downtime, including patient observation and assistance with mobility.
• Maintain teamwork principles; contribute positively to a collaborative work environment.

Schedule

This position offers a 4×10 day shift schedule, with options for Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.

Housing Options

On-site housing is available, consisting of shared units with private rooms. Availability may be limited. If on-site housing is at capacity, temporary hotel accommodations can be arranged.

The hotel is located approximately 25 minutes away from the worksite.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant experience in mammography and DEXA scanning.
• Possess the ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team.
• Strong leadership skills and the capacity to set standards for department operations.
• Certification in mammography and DEXA is preferred.
