Job Description:

The Mammo Tech is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic radiology and breast imaging procedures in an ambulatory center. This role includes screenings and biopsies, requiring proficiency in mammography positioning, equipment use, and technical settings.

Responsibilities:

Produce quality diagnostic studies and ensure accurate data entry on history sheets.
Deliver quality patient care, including screenings and diagnostics.
Perform wire localizations and stereotactic biopsies.
Work effectively with all age groups, adapting to each group’s specific needs related to radiology exams.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of Mammo specific experience.
ARRT (RT)(M) certification, BLS, proof of meeting MQSA requirements, WA State license.
Proficiency in mammography positioning, technical settings, and equipment use.
Soft skills include the ability to work solo on Saturdays and effective communication with different age groups.
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
