Interventional Radiology Technologist

Unit Information

This role is situated within a specialized procedures unit featuring:

• 2 Interventional Radiology (IR) suites
• Staff Composition: 4 IR nurses and 4 IR technologists
• Average patient ratio: 10 patients per room
• Equipment: Philips biplane and Toshiba single plane

General Information

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following:

• IR or Cath Lab experience is essential
• Candidates with IR Neuro experience will be prioritized

Typical Procedures

The unit conducts various procedures, including but not limited to:

• PICC line placements
• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
• Kyphoplasty
• Port placements
• Ablations
• Epidural Steroid Injections (ESI)
• EKOS for Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
• Trevo for Stroke

Qualifications

Required certifications include:

• ARRT certification
• New Hampshire license must be held at the time of application

Dress Code

Scrubs will be provided by the facility.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability for weekends on a rotational basis (every third to fourth weekend) as well as one weeknight.

Experience Requirement

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Interventional Radiology is preferred.
