Job Description:

The role involves working as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech, alternating between the hours of 6:30AM to 5:00PM and 7:00AM to 4:00PM. The position requires expertise in vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive stroke procedures and address aneurysms, subarachnoid hemorrhages (SAH), and deep venous sinus thrombosis (DVST) as a Neuro Interventional Radiology Tech.
• Handle Level 1 Trauma Center procedures including gastrointestinal bleeds, embolizations, gastronomy tubes, and nephrostomies.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiological Technology.
• Certification by the ARRT.
• Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures.
• On-call availability 1 night a week and 1 weekend per month, with possible holiday coverage.
• ARRT RT (R) certification and BLS are required.
• Experience in neuro interventional radiology, including strokes, aneurysms, and SAH, is preferred.
