Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This role involves working Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of diagnostic equipment and conduct electrophysiology studies.
• Manage and monitor patients undergoing procedures such as ICD, SICD, pacemakers, and structural heart interventions.
• Perform EP ablation procedures, including pulmonary vein isolation (PVI).
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiac electrophysiology.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credentialing required.

Holiday Expectations

The candidate must be available to work two major holidays, which include Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day, as well as one minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
