Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist – Pediatric

City/State: Tacoma, Washington

Shift: 10 Hour Days, 07:00:00-17:00:00

Contract Length: 21 weeks

Job Description:

The Electrophysiology Technologist will work in the Radiology department, focusing on pediatric electrophysiology cases. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, including the implantation and removal of cardiac devices, and conducting EP studies with radiofrequency ablations.

Responsibilities:

Perform pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures such as LHC/RHC and PDA/VSD/ASD closures.
Conduct pacemaker implants, generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, and electrophysiology studies.
Monitor patients during procedures, including managing sedation needs provided by Anesthesia.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience; prior pediatric cath lab experience required.
Hold BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT, and current WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC licenses.
Experience with pediatric congenital and electrophysiology cases preferred.
Keen monitoring skills; familiarity with PACS: Picom, Hemodynamic: Merge, and C-arm: Siemens Artis preferred.
Proficiency with EMR: EPIC Cupid preferred.
