Electrophysiology Lab Technician

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, providing essential support in a state-of-the-art medical setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in clinical procedures and equipped with specialized skills to contribute to patient care and safety.

Unit Information

• Location: City, State
• Number of Beds: 6 EP Labs
• Number of Staff: 28 total (18 Day Shift Lab Staff, 1 Charge Nurse, 3 Patient Care Technicians)
• Type of Equipment: Electrophysiology mapping systems including Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, and associated equipment.
• EMR: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available: Yes

Shift Information

• Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekends: None

Qualifications

Must Have:

• 1 year of catheterization lab or electrophysiology scrub experience

Preferred:

• More than 1 year of scrub experience in a catheterization lab or electrophysiology lab

• Device Implants
• Device Extractions
• Structural Heart Procedures
