Job Title: Cardiac Cath/EP Technologist

City/State: Janesville, Wisconsin

Shift: Days, M-F between the hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. One to two weeknight of call, every fourth weekend.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Cardiac Cath/EP Technologist is responsible for preparing patients and equipment using sterile techniques, monitoring and recording procedural data, and ensuring patient comfort during procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure settings.

Responsibilities:

• Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies.
• Prepares patient and equipment for utilization of sterile technique.
• Monitors and records all procedural data and maintains procedural event logs.
• Advocates for radiation safety and protection for self and coworkers.

Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited radiology program – Education verification required.
• AART registered.
• Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License.
• Cardiovascular Technologist registered.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.
