Job Description:

Outpatient Cardiology practice (not on hospital campus) performing Echo and Echo stress testing daily. Outpatient office environment with all studies being prescheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Performs and interprets preliminary non-invasive cardiac studies, including 2D and M Mode echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and other outpatient services as needed.
• Responsible for preparing and interpreting quality studies for physicians.
• Performs all outpatient cardiac testing as ordered by the medical staff, non-invasive vascular monitoring, stress echocardiography, and assists with TEE.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in echocardiogram technician position and/or related experience required.
• RDMS required.
• Reg Cardiac Sonographer or Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer required.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Specific skills expected: Echo and Echo stress.
