CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our radiology unit. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services, primarily focusing on CT scans and X-rays.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct CT imaging procedures and ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment, including Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128 for CT scans and Carestream equipment for X-rays.
• Work flexible night shifts, starting between 6 PM and 8 PM, and adapt to varied schedules.
• Float between CT and X-Ray as required, demonstrating versatility in imaging techniques.
• Assist in managing a daily volume of approximately 110-130 patients within the CT unit.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
• Current certifications:
  • BLS Certification
  • Certified CT Technologist – ARRT (CT)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist – ARRT (R)
  • Fluoroscopy permit
  • California Radiologic Technologist license

Additional Information

All candidates must provide two supervisory references (charge accepted) at the time of application, including one reference within the last 12 months and another within the last three years of employment. Candidates who have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility affiliated with the organization within the past year are not eligible for this position. PRN experience through external firms may be considered.
