CT Technologist

Unit Information

The position is available within a 750-bed hospital that serves as a Level 1 Trauma and Primary Stroke Center. The CT department operates 24/7, with dedicated staff including a lead tech, three techs during dayshift, and one tech for night shifts. Technologists work with advanced medical equipment to provide crucial imaging services.

General Information

• Type of Equipment: GE scanners (64 slice and above), PACS, and FUJI Synapse.
• EMR System: Meditech.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • Minimum 6 months of current acute care CT Tech experience.
  • ARRT (R) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active licensure in Kansas.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with GE scanners.
  • Previous exposure to Meditech.

Typical Procedures

• CT Angiography (CTA) of the chest, neck, and abdomen.
• CTA Cardiac studies as part of the Structural Heart program.
• CT Head Scans following stroke protocol.
