Job Title: SMH Allied Level 2 CT Tech – Weekend Overnights

City/State: Rochester, New York

Shift: Friday – Sunday, 7pm – 7:30am EST

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description:

CT Technologist needed to confirm patient identity, coordinate with physicians, prepare patients for scans, and maintain accurate patient records and a clean facility.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; adhere to department policy for patient safety.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Position patients appropriately while ensuring safe patient handling.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including identifying images and assuring correct submission to the PACS system.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Requirements:

• NYS licensure with injection therapy certification prior to starting position.
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology; ARRT Certification.
• Two years of experience with Level 1 Trauma Center.
• BLS Certification by the American Heart Association.
• Experience with Telemetry.
