About the Facility

Join a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds, committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

General Information

  • Will accept travelers with 1 year of experience if they have worked in a large Level III+ facility and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • First-time travelers will be considered if they possess broad experience from a large Level III+ facility.

Patient Types

As a CT Technologist, you will handle a variety of cases:

  • Day Shift: General, diagnostic, interventional, assisting with procedures, ER, critical cases.
  • Evening/Night Shift: 90% will be ER and ICU patients.

Cardiac CT experience is preferred.

Patient Volume

Over 100 patients are seen within a 24-hour period.

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • BLS
  • ARRT – CT & R
  • Washington State License

Skills Required

  • Experience with mentioned case types.
  • Must have acute care experience.

Support on the Unit

You will be supported by:

  • Lead CT Tech
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Hospitalist
  • Radiologist: IR MD and PA will assist with cases; Radiologist present during the day, off-site at night.
  • Respiratory Therapy (RRT)
  • Transporter: A CT transporter will be available except from 4 AM to 9 AM.
  • Up to 5 CT Technologists during business hours, reduced to 3 after 5 PM.

Technology/Equipment

  • EMR System: EPIC
  • IV Pumps: Alaris
  • Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
  • Injector: MedRad
  • PACS: Change Healthcare
  • CT Equipment: Siemens, Dual Source CT 128 Flash, Definition 64 (Interventional CT), Definition Edge 128 in ER. No prior experience required.

Orientation

A one-week departmental orientation will be provided, with the possibility of extension if necessary.

Scheduling

  • Weekend Rotation: Fixed schedule; refer to job postings for specific details. Some positions may require work every weekend.
  • Shift Times: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Night shifts will always be 12-hour shifts. The manager cannot accommodate shift requests outside of those posted.
  • Schedule Cycle: A consistent rotating schedule with minor adjustments.

  • Scrub Color: Any color, professional appearance with no logos or designs.
  • Parking: Free parking available on-site.
