CT Technologist

Position Description

Unit Information:

• Location: Asheville, NC
• Number of Beds: 800
• Type of Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
• EMR: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACS

General Information

Staffing Structure:

• Day Shift: 5 Technologists and Supervisor
• Evening Shift: 4-5 Technologists and Rad Assistant
• Night Shift: 2-3 Technologists and Rad Assistant

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Neuro Imaging
• Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging
• Body Imaging
• Invasive Procedures
• Cardiac Imaging
• Pediatric Imaging

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Expertise in all areas of CT Imaging, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures.
• Experience in Emergency Department (ED) trauma and stroke imaging.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GE equipment
• Invasive CT procedures
• Cardiac Imaging knowledge
• Venipuncture skills

The ideal candidate is a team player who can also work independently. A self-motivated individual is preferred.

Certification Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification is required.

Dress Code

The required scrub color is black.

Work Schedule

• Typical work schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Weekend shifts may be required occasionally.
• Possible rotation to another shift may be necessary.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years experience is required for this position.
