Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Technologist – Pediatric will work in the Radiology department, specializing as a Cath Lab Tech. The position involves handling pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional cases and pediatric electrophysiology.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures such as LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, and collateral closure.
• Conduct pediatric electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker implants and generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, and EP studies with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial Tach, PVC.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience; prior pediatric cath lab experience preferred.
• Required licenses/certifications: BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT, current WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC license.
• Experience with case monitoring and circulator duties; familiarity with PACS (Picom) and Hemodynamic (Merge) systems preferred.
• Proficiency with C-arm (Siemens Artis).
• EMR: EPIC Cupid experience preferred.
• On-call duty includes 7 call shifts in a 3-week rotation, with a 45-minute response time; call shifts cover weekend rotations.
• Scrub color provided by hospital; lead provided, extended sizing not available for lead.
