Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

City/State: Tacoma, Washington

Shift: 8H Days 7a-530p with call

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting with procedures involving cardiac catheterization, as well as providing support to the Cath Lab through scrubbing, monitoring, and documentation. Circulating, prep, and recovery experience is preferred. Must have procedural experience and be versatile in both cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology (EP) settings.

Responsibilities:

Assist in both cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures, including TAVR and mitral clip.
Utilize and demonstrate knowledge of devices such as IABP and Impella.
Scrub, monitor, and document cardiac procedures.
Operate and understand EPIC, MacLab, and GE Imaging systems.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a Cath Lab or EP setting.
Required certifications: RCIS, RT, or RCES; ACLS, ARRT, BLS.
Proficiency in sedation and Phase 1 recovery, with ICU or PACU experience preferred.
Prefer experience with EMRs like EPIC.
