Job Title

IR Tech – Cath Lab Tech

City/State: Auburn, Washington

Shift: Weekdays 06:30 – 17:00 + call 1-2 nights/week, 1-2 weekends/month

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: 08/10/2026

Job Description:

The IR Tech in the Cath Lab is responsible for performing a variety of procedures in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab settings. The role requires experience with both patient care and technical skills, including the ability to scrub and operate tables simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

Perform procedures such as G and GJ tube placements, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filter placements.
Conduct tunneled and temporary dialysis catheter insertions and chemo embolizations.
Execute diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including LHC/RHC and STEMI management.
Assist with EP procedures like pacemaker installations and lead extractions.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of IR experience, with Cath Lab experience strongly preferred.
Required certifications: RCIS or RT(R), Washington State License, BLS, ACLS.
Experience with EPIC EMR system.
Ability to respond to on-call duties within 30 minutes.
