Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting in procedures performed in the catheterization laboratory. This includes monitoring hemodynamics and administering conscious sedation. The technologist works within a five-suite facility handling various cardiac, vascular, and neuro interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in procedures by scrubbing or monitoring hemodynamics.
• Participate in procedural processes including airway management and sedation.
• Manage cardiac drips and balloon pumps.
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases, and work one weekend per month as required.

Requirements:

• ARRT, BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy required.
• Must have current cath lab experience and be comfortable with conscious & moderate sedation.
• Familiarity with a STEMI receiving facility and handling cases such as cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro interventions.
• Comfort with charting in Cerner system.
