Cath Lab Technologist

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist with cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and neuro intervention procedures, working collaboratively with a team of technologists and nurses.

Responsibilities:

Perform procedures as one of two techs assigned to each case, including scrubbing and monitoring hemodynamics.
Assist with conscious sedation under the direction of an RN.
Support a Lead Tech with room assignments and procedure preparation.

Requirements:

Current ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy certifications.
Proficiency in cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, and general interventional radiology procedures.
Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors.
Must have current cath lab experience and be skilled in airway management and the use of balloon pumps.
