Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist – Pediatric

City/State: Tacoma, Washington

Shift: 10 Hour Days, 07:00:00-17:00:00

Contract Length: 12.7 weeks

Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Technologist will work in a pediatric cath lab setting, focusing on pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as pediatric electrophysiology processes.

Responsibilities:

Assist with pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures including LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, and collateral closure.
Perform pediatric electrophysiology tasks such as pacemaker implant and generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, and EP study with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial Tach, PVC.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a cath lab, preferably with prior pediatric cath lab experience.
Current BLS, PALS, and RCIS and/or ARRT certifications, along with WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC license.
Experience with circulator and patient monitoring for the specified cases; experience with PACS: Picom and Hemodynamic: Merge preferred.
Familiarity with the use of Siemens Artis C-arm and EPIC Cupid EMR is preferred.
