Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This role requires proficiency in both Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular interventional radiology and catheterization procedures.
• Assist physicians in the preparation and execution of interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide patient care throughout the procedure and monitor vital signs.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a cardiovascular or procedural setting (Cath Lab, IR, Electrophysiology Lab).
• Active AHA BLS certification.
• Radiology Technologist License (LRT) through KSBHA.
• ARRT certification in Radiography is required; R.T. (VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography is preferred.
• AHA ACLS certification is preferred.
• No hits on license; all required certifications and licenses must be current and valid at the time of submission.

Work Schedule

This position requires four 9-hour shifts per week with weekend and holiday rotations, including one holiday (likely Labor Day). On-call duties include 1 night per week and every 4th weekend.
