Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Lone Tree, CO

Number of Beds: 272

Cath Lab Suites: 2

Staff: 5 Technologists and 6 Registered Nurses

Equipment: Phillip’s equipment in both suites

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech and Mac Lab experience

General Information

This position requires rotating nights of call and weekends. Candidates must be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT (R) certification
• RCIS or RCES certification required, with a willingness to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado
• Preferred: ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification
• Preferred: Experience with EP scrubbing and prior Meditech experience

Typical Procedures

• Assisting with basic Cath Lab skills, including scrubbing and monitoring
• Administering conscious moderate sedation

On-Call Requirements

• 7-8 days of call per month, including at least one weekend
