Cath Lab Radiology Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Radiology Technician with experience in cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Cath Lab, working alongside a dedicated team to provide quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor during Cath Lab procedures including angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and complex cases such as chronic total occlusions (CTO), left main, and patent foramen ovale (PFO) device implants.
• Provide STEMI coverage as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in sterile technique and maintaining a sterile field.
• Utilize equipment such as Impella and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP).
• Record and monitor data using MacLab; training on MacLab usage will be provided.
• Maintain knowledge of products and restocking of necessary supplies in the Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification is required; RCIS certifications will not be accepted.
• Prior experience in a Cath Lab is mandatory.
• Experience with structural heart procedures is preferred but not necessary.

Shift Details

This position requires day shifts, 4 days a week from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including on-call coverage and weekend shifts.

Location

This role is based in Northwest Medical Center, located in a vibrant city in the United States.

Additional Information

The scrub color is flexible; any solid color is acceptable. Experience with Cerner EMR is beneficial but not required.
