Cath Lab Technologist

Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped Cath Lab with a supportive and experienced staff in a vibrant community.

Unit Information

The Cath Lab features:

• Number of Beds: 272
• Cath Lab Suites: 2
• Staffing: 5 Technologists and 6 Registered Nurses
• Day Shift Staffing: 3-5 Technologists and 2-4 Registered Nurses
• Night Shift: On-call

Equipment and Technology

• Operating Equipment: Phillip’s equipment in both suites
• EMR: Experience with Meditech and Mac Lab

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred: ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification

Preferred skills and experience include:

• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification
• Experience in EP scrubbing
• Prior experience with Meditech

Typical Procedures

Responsibilities may include:

• Performing basic Cath Lab skills, including scrubbing and monitoring
• Administering conscious moderate sedation
