Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in Med-Surg/Telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of medical-surgical experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality nursing care.

Shift Information

This position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a variety of medical-surgical settings.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and health information.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and overall comfort.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in the state of Louisiana.
• At least one year of experience in a Med-Surg or Telemetry unit.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
