Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Med Surg/Tele unit. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist in the management of the patient’s health needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and clinical status.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This position requires a willingness to work a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift.

Location

Position available in Rapides, LA. Candidates must be willing to travel within a 50+ mile radius.
