Job Description:

The Polysomnographer is responsible for conducting sleep studies and supporting the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders within our laboratory unit.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting sleep studies including setup and monitoring of patients using appropriate equipment.
• Performing scoring and analysis of sleep studies during the night.
• Applying and titrating treatment modalities such as CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory interventions.
• Ensuring accurate and thorough patient preparation and education regarding procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• BLS certification.
• Certification as RPSGT by BRPT or RST by ABSM or RRT with SDS credentials.
• Proficiency in the use of EMR systems, specifically EPIC, and other sleep-specific technology.
