Job Description:

The Histotechnician is responsible for preparing and processing histologic samples. This includes routine histology tasks such as embedding, microtomy, immunohistochemistry (IHC), special stains, and digital pathology. The role requires attention to detail and experience with technical equipment such as Roche and Epic Beaker.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine histology tasks including embedding, microtomy, and IHC.
• Conduct special stains and digital pathology work.

Requirements:

• BLS certification through AHA.
• HT or HLT Certification through ASCP preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in histology, 3 years preferred.
• Associates degree preferred.
