Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring their effects on patients.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree may be considered.
• Previous nursing experience in a relevant specialty preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be necessary based on specialty.
